Gérard El Allaf, Managing Director
Produweb’s Managing Director, Gérard El Allaf combines technical expertise acquired during his Civil Engineering studies at the Royal Military School, management skills acquired during his studies in Management Engineering at Solvay Business School, and expertise gained over several years in the field of e-business.
An expert in Internet strategy and the management of IT projects, Gérard El Allaf has supervised a large number of e-business projects. He has also kept one foot in the academic world: the thesis he wrote in 2006 and entitled “study of the feasibility and strategy of launching an on-line sales site” was honoured with the highest distinction by the ULB.
In 2007 the Minister Jean-Claude Marcourt awarded him official approval as an “E-business projects manager”.
He was elected to the committee of eTIC, the body responsible for monitoring the ethical practices of the players in the ICT sector in Wallonia.
Gérard El Allaf is also regularly consulted as an expert by a variety of institutions, including the European Commission which calls on his advice for questions to do with e-business and ICT policy.

Sylvain Boniver, Managing Director
Sylvain Boniver was following a traditional career path at the “Liège Ecole des Hautes Études Commerciales” business school when he discovered a major opportunity in the telecoms market. Having always wanted to set up his own business and considering the stakes sufficiently high, he decided to devote himself full-time to his first company, ProduLine, in 2002.
ProduLine rapidly became a major player in mobile marketing on the internet. With over 120,000 members His SMS.BE portal is the leader in French speaking Belgium, while his B2B service (sending and receiving of SMS text messages) SmsExtrapro.com is recognised as one of the best on the market.
In 2003, while ProduLine was taking off, Sylvain Boniver founded ProduWeb with Gérard El Allaf in order to separate the web business from ProduLine’s mobile business.
Today Sylvain Boniver holds the post of ProduLine’s CEO and ProduWeb’s Operations Director.
